Bahamas beach wedding bliss for Darren and Alison

British Open golf champion Darren Clarke has married his former model girlfriend in a beach ceremony in the Bahamas.

The Dungannon, Co Tyrone man, who won an emotional first major of his 21-year career last July, married Alison Campbell, a former Miss Northern Ireland beauty queen, at the Abaco Club, a beach front golf resort in Marsh Harbour.

After the ceremony, his manager Andrew ‘Chubby’ Chandler tweeted a picture of the newlyweds and wrote: “Darren and Alison Clarke getting married on a spectacular day at the Abaco Club.”
