Maths whiz Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin may be helping mould the nation’s maths syllabus but she still believes there is an outdated stereotype about women’s head for figures.

The TV presenter, who recently wrapped up her teaching job to focus on her maths doctorate, also revealed a hidden talent for music with a stint performing on stage with The Voice coach Bressie while she was in college.

The 28-year-old told how they got together as a music group when they lived across the hall from each other in UCD and even once supported the Saw Doctors in concert.
