Ben O’Connor retires from Cork hurling

Cork star Ben O’Connor retired from inter-county hurling last night.

Manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy led the tributes to the former All Star: “Ben has been an outstanding servant to Cork GAA, and while we are very disappointed to lose his services, we respect his decision and wish him well.”

O’Connor has been involved with the senior team since 1999.
