Pub must pay redundancy to ex-worker

Four owners of a Cork pub, including a GAA star, have been ordered by an Employment Appeals Tribunal to pay redundancy to a former employee.

Teresa Leahy, from Kilcredan, Ballymacoda, started work at Alley Bar, Chapel St, Cloyne, in June 2005.

In Nov 2006, the pub was transferred to the ownership of Cathal Cronin, Killian Cronin, Maurice Cahill, and Cork senior hurling captain Donal Óg Cusack.
