On the double: Ministers to use St Patrick’s trips to drum up investment

The Taoiseach and double the number of ministers compared to last year will travel abroad for St Patrick’s Day celebrations this year in a bid to drum up foreign investment in Ireland.

Enda Kenny and 16 ministers will take the traditional holiday trips.

The estimated cost of the visits will be several thousand euro for each minister, based on the expenses for last year’s trips.
