Iarnród Éireann set to review online fees

Iarnród Éireann has promised to review online booking and credit card charges after a consultant’s report criticised these fees.

The railway company charges €2 per online booking plus a fee of €1 if paying with a credit card.

However, a consultant’s report commissioned by the National Transport Authority (NTA) has called for such charges to be dropped.
