A Dublin City councillor has been found to have breached ethics guidelines following an investigation into his behaviour by the Standards Commission.

Labour Cllr Oisin Quinn’s contraventions were found to have been committed “inadvertently” and were minor in nature.

The Standards in Public Office Commission inquiry examined his interest in a property and that of connected persons on Mount St which was “material” to a motion discussed at a council meeting in December 2009 and again in July 2010.

Mr Quinn failed to disclose that interest, the inquiry found.
