Two held over killing of teenage girl in Tallaght

Gardaí investigating last week’s murder of Melanie McNamara, 16, yesterday arrested two men in relation to the killing.

Ms McNamara was shot in the head on Brookview Way in Brookfield, Tallaght, on February 7.

She was sitting in a car along with her boyfriend and two others, when shots were fired from a black Hyundai Santa Fe 4x4 which pulled up alongside.
