A major drive is under way to attract more German visitors to Kerry in 2012.

Campaign  under way to attract more German visitors to Kerry

A number of groups from the South West were among 35 tourism organisations from Ireland in a trade mission to Germany which involved one-to-one meetings with nearly 250 top German travel agents and tour operators.

Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Hamburg — all with direct air access to Ireland — were among targeted areas with an emphasis on walking and outdoor activity holidays.
