Parents of children at a Midlands primary school are deciding whether to return them to the classroom where they say a substitute teacher has created “a culture of fear”.

Following talks yesterday mediated by a local county councillor, the parents, who removed their children from the junior class at the school — which has just over 30 pupils — say they accept due process must be followed as their complaints are investigated.

They will be deciding whether to find alternative schools for their children, or to await the outcome of the grievance process.
