Birthday bliss for quad girls

YOU could call them Cork’s four-in-a-row, but if the four-wheel drive of the quad squad is anything to go by, the bainisteoirs of Kellie, Katie, Shauna and Amy Murphy have to take some credit.

This weekend the quads, from Riverstick, Co Cork, celebrate their 10th birthday and they will be joined by parents Pat and Brenda to celebrate the momentous occasion at the local national school.

“I can’t believe they are 10,” said Brenda. “The past 10 years have gone by so quickly. I find it is amazing to think I am the mother of quads.”
