Former Texas Rose dies

THE young woman who represented Texas in the Rose of Tralee competition in 2010 has died.

Adrienne Hussey, who was in her mid-20s, passed away at Beaumont Hospital following a short illness.

Originally from Plano, Texas, but with Irish roots in counties Dublin and Waterford, Adrienne had been living in Dublin since last year.
