Work-in begins at resource centre

PROTESTING former workers at the Employment Resource Centre in Cork city are continuing to operate the facility voluntarily after refusing to comply with Fás orders to shut it down.

Martin Mason said he would be completely lost and isolated without this service.

Mr Mason, who is not able to work for medical reasons, said he started using the centre when he became unemployed.
