U2 tour takes €225m to top Billboard’s highest earner list

ROCK superstars U2 had the highest-earning tour of the year, according to new figures.

The band’s 360° shows saw them play 44 dates to almost three million people, taking more than €225 million.

Second in the list — from figures compiled by music magazine Billboard — was US rock act Bon Jovi.
