Schoolgirl’s art book picked up by supermarket chain

THE passion of a schoolgirl for art has led to her first workbook being sold by a supermarket chain.

Musgrave Group yesterday confirmed it is stocking 16-year-old Kate McCarthy’s book in SuperValu stores throughout West Cork.

Kate, from Caheragh near Skibbereen, recently launched her first art workbook for children, Fun Art for Kids.
