THE “average” drinker has nothing to fear about the morning-after breathalyser test, a publican insisted yesterday.

John O’Sullivan, a member of the national executive council of the Vintners Federation (VFI), made the comment to ease the fears of drinkers “scared out of their wits” about the garda campaign.

He said many people were under a delusion they would fail the test if they had consumed three or four pints the previous night.
