Gardaí seek witnesses to fatal road accident

GARDAÍ have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident on the Cork-Limerick road which claimed the life of a 30-year-old man.

Michael Corcoran was crossing the main Cork-Limerick road north of Mallow when he was hit by a truck.

Mr Corcoran, who lived at Baltydaniel, Mallow was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene by a local doctor.
