IRISH motorists admit to regularly breaking the law when driving, with a new survey showing many people habitually use their mobile phone to talk and text while driving.

The survey shows that a third of all drivers confessed they talk on their mobile phone when driving, while 19% owned up to texting.

One in 10 motorists also admitted they had damaged another vehicle when parking.
