Comedy festival returns to Clonmel
The festival at O’Keeffe’s in Clonmel is now firmly established on the national comedy circuit and this year’s programme promises a diverse and heady mix of Irish and international comics.
Taking place from November 17 to 20, the festival will bring the likes of Andrew Maxwell, Colin Murphy, Ardal O’Hanlon, Keith Farnan, Karl Spain, Damian Clarke, Chris Kent and Eric Lalor to the Parnell Street venue.
Some of the hottest tickets from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011 will also descend on Clonmel, including three Edinburgh Comedy Award nominees and the winner Adam Riches making his Irish debut at the festival.
The festival will also host the 2006 Edinburgh Award winner Phil Nichol along with perennial favourite, Patrick Monahan, along with solo shows from The with Tape on his Face and Sanderson Jones.
The Bulmers Comedy Festival regularly attracts big international names and introduces stars of the future to Ireland.
Tickets can be purchased from the festival box office at Hearn’s Hotel by calling 052 6121611 or online at www.clonmelcomedy.com.
