Boots opening to create 14 jobs in Macroom

ABOUT fourteen jobs are to be created in Macroom with the opening of a new Boots store in the town next week, bringing the chain’s total number of Irish stores to 66.

Located in Macroom’s Fair Green Plaza shopping centre, the shop will open on Wednesday, October 12, employing around 14 local people in part-time and full-time jobs.

The new store, which will be managed by Rosalind Murphy, occupies a 180 square metre unit at the Fair Green Plaza.

Customers visiting the new outlet will be able to benefit from a variety of pharmacy services, Additional services include the Tony Ferguson Weight Loss Programme, the Boots Stop for Good smoking cessation programme, emergency contraception and travel health advice.
