Robert Ballagh unveils art project to help charity mark 40 years
Ballagh stood on the Grand Parade in the city centre last night and triggered the unfurling of a giant banner of artwork created by Cork Simon residents. It was displayed on the outside of the former tax office on Sullivan’s Quay.
The 18m banner features 10 original artworks made by 44 Cork Simon residents who took part in 28 workshops given by 20 volunteer art facilitators over the summer.
