Concern over driving test booking sites

HUNDREDS of motorists are paying extra by booking their driving test through third-party websites.

The Road Safety Authority has also contacted the Data Commissioner over its concerns that people’s personal data is being provided to these websites.

The RSA said that at least 300 people had contacted its offices in recent months having booked their test online with companies charging more than the required rate of €84.
