Shot man escaped death by grappling with attacker

A GUN attack victim escaped being killed by struggling with his attacker after being shot.

Declan O’Reilly fell to the ground when he was shot by a gunman on a laneway in Harold’s Cross, south Dublin, on Tuesday.

His attacker stood over him to fire when O’Reilly struggled with him.
