Man charged with raping daughter

A MIDDLE-AGED Corkman was arrested yesterday and charged with 20 counts of anal rape of his daughter over a five-year period in the 1990s.

The accused was also charged with 24 counts of sexually assaulting her.

It is alleged that the offences were committed between 1993 and 1998, when the defendant’s daughter was between seven and 12 years of age.
