Campaign targets drug abuse in young people
The first phase of the drive — which includes the launch of a website and two awareness days — kicks off with the distribution of 20,000 copies of a booklet providing information, support and advice to parents and teenagers.
The booklet, entitled “Mise, My Life” will be distributed to parents and students as part of a new drive by the Kinsale Youth Support Service, which was set up in August 2010 to help young people affected by mental health problems or by alcohol or drug misuse.
