TWO of the presidential candidates have been left in an embarrassing situation — after unveiling identical campaign slogans.

Fine Gael’s Gay Mitchell and Independent candidate Mary Davis have both opted for precisely the same phrase — “Pride at home, respect abroad.”

The only difference in their slogans is the punctuation.
