Punter misses €127m jackpot by one number

A DUBLIN Lotto player was just one number away from scooping Tuesday’s €127 million EuroMillions jackpot.

Now, tonight’s winnings are set to top €150m — a bonanza which could see a lucky winner earn €10,000 a day on interest alone — almost €7 a minute.

Tuesday’s five-number winner scooped €294,449. The player selected five numbers correctly and was only missing the final Lucky Star, number 9. The player, who bought the €10 quick pick ticket in the Bus Stop Kiosk in Nutgrove Shopping Centre, Rathfarnham, has not yet claimed the prize.
