Man critical after shooting

A MAN was fighting for his life in hospital after being shot up to three times outside a house in Dublin.

The victim, aged in his 40s, was shot in the upper body by a lone gunman on the Oranmore Road in Ballyfermot at about 3.20pm.

Gardaí said the attacker, dressed in dark clothing, fled on a bicycle.

The injured man was taken to St James’s Hospital where gardaí said he is in a critical condition.
