November date for rifle case

CORK Circuit Criminal Court will hear a case in November against a man accused of having a rifle and ammunition for an unlawful purpose in Co Cork last February.

Inspector Gary McPolin confirmed at Cork District Court that a book of evidence had been served on Donnacha Collins, aged 23, of Kilmona, Grenagh.

Mr Collins is accused of possession of a Romner rifle and ammunition at Gilcaugh, Vicarstown, on February 10.
