Woman may face two years

Ruth Oboru of The Orchard, Castlelyons, County Cork, pleaded guilty at Cork District Court yesterday to five charges of burglary, two counts of theft and one charge of carrying out a dishonest transaction at a bank.

Oboru is serving a prison sentence and is due to be released in November.

Judge Leo Malone said she may get the benefit of temporary release before then so he put her on a one year probation bond.
