FINANCE Minister Michael Noonan has warned that deteriorating economic conditions might lead to even more cuts in December’s budget than previously flagged.

While public finances are on track, the Government may not reach its target of reducing the deficit to 8.6% of GDP next year, which could lead to even more cuts in the budget.

But the Government may not reach its deficit target with €3.6 billion of planned reductions and revenue increases.
