4-year budget plans in October

THE Government have confirmed that it will set out plans for the budget and economic proposals for the next four years in October.

Details of cuts to department budgets and possible tax changes look set to be included in the pre-budget outlook.

Finance Minister Michael Noonan flagged the publication of the expenditure plan during a speech last month.
