€10 dinner kits may have students salivating
Cork entrepreneur David O’Leary has come up with the novel idea of selling students, who have a reputation for living on diets of baked beans and toasted sandwiches, four nutritional meals each week for the recession-busting price of €10.
College-Dinners, the company established by the 34-year-old from Rochestown, Co Cork, will deliver students with all the key ingredients, including meat and vegetables, for four meals every Monday at eight locations around the UCC campus during term time.
