Danger averted as Hamilton hospitalised

ONE of the country’s most loved and popular sports commentators with RTÉ, George Hamilton, is thanking his lucky stars today that he went to see his doctor on Tuesday.

Hamilton, known for the catchphrase “Danger here”, had been complaining of feeling unwell and some breathing problems, and thought it could be the flu.

He went to see his GP, who ensured he was rushed to hospital.
