Man held after body of missing foreigner found

A 35-YEAR-OLD man has been remanded in custody in relation to the disappearance of a Latvian man in Galway.

The body of a man discovered in the Glenamaddy area on Saturday evening has been identified as that of 30-year-old Juris Bols from Latvia.

Sergeis Krauze, a Latvian national with an address at Dudley Heights, Glenamaddy, Co Galway was remanded in custody when he appeared before a special sitting of Tuam District Court in Galway city yesterday.
