GARDAÍ are this morning continuing to interrogate two adult males in connection with a €1.5 million drugs find in a private house yesterday afternoon.

The men, who are understood to be aged 39 and 47, were arrested after the major discovery on the premises in Bettystown, Co Meath.

The drugs haul relates solely to herbal cannabis and was led by the Garda National Drugs Unit, which has been involved in a string of recent, significant drugs stings throughout Ireland.
