Doctor faces claims of sex assaults on teen girls

GARDAÍ are preparing a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) after questioning a doctor about allegations that he sexually assaulted three teenage girls while practising in Co Cork.

A senior Garda source confirmed last night that the investigation was sparked late last year when a woman made what he termed “a historical complaint’’ against the doctor.

The initial complaint, the Garda source added, was soon followed by two more complaints from two other people, which were also said to date back approximately 20 years.
