Apology: Mr William Bradshaw

IN the Irish Examiner dated September 3, 2007, we published an article under the headline “Prison officer faces probe for alleged tax fraud”.

Mr William Bradshaw, the prison officer in question, had the vehicle properly insured in his own name. He had not engaged in any fraud in respect of the tax disc.

We wish to apologise unreservedly to Mr Bradshaw for any hurt or embarrassment caused as a result of this publication.
