World award for Dublin bar

A LANDMARK bar in South Dublin, Gleesons was chosen from hundreds of entries to claim the top accolade at the sixth Licensing World Bar Awards, at an annual gala banquet held in The Four Seasons Hotel, Ballsbridge.

Entrants were assessed on relevant criteria including welcome, customer service, ambience, staff training, hygiene, decor, product range and customer appeal.

Gleesons is a family-run premises operated by brothers John and Ciaran Gleeson.
