DPP to get file on knife attack

GARDAÍ investigating the weekend knife attack on four young men, one of whom had to undergo emergency surgery, are to send a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Officers examining the case have confirmed they are still speaking to eight people who are involved in the incident as witnesses.

This includes the person who allegedly knifed the four individuals, and the young man who is still being treated at Cork University Hospital.
