Dunne murder probe ongoing

A MAJOR investigation into the murder of crime boss Eamonn Dunne is ongoing, an inquest has heard.

Dunne, 34, from Dunsoughly Drive, Finglas, north Dublin, was gunned down in the Fassaugh House pub in Cabra on April 23, 2010.

Seven people have been arrested as part of the garda investigation.

Dr Brian Farrell told the deceased’s father, Eamon Dunne Snr, that he had to adjourn to allow the criminal investigation proceed.

Mr Dunne Snr said he understood that. The case will return on December 13.
