Copy-Kate wedding dress here soon
Brides-to-be all could be walking down the aisle as early as next month in the Princess Kate design by New York fashion house Faviana which will go on sale in Ireland in July.
And almost as many Irish women are being tipped to exchange their vows later in the year in the slinky white creation worn by her gorgeous younger sister Pippa.
The American fashion house was among the first to come forward with a copy Kate design and dispatch it to China for production in the days after the future queen unveiled the world’s most talked about wedding gown.
While the Duchess of Cambridge’s dress cost €280,000, the Princess Kate copy will be sold for less than €1,300.
Spokewoman for Faviana, Lauren Dubin, said the gown is in big demand.
“There are a lot of Faviana retailers in Ireland and all of them will be carrying the gown.
“Girls want to feel like royalty on their big day. The gown will cost $1,800 (€1,233) and it will be ready for a late July delivery.
“Faviana is making girls’ dreams a reality by bringing Kate’s style to the everyday woman. Bridesmaid Pippa’s dress will also be stocked in Irish shops.”
