IRELAND risks missing an incredible tourism opportunity if the Government doesn’t act immediately to help the Cliffs of Moher secure a place as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

That is according to Fianna Fáil tourism spoke-sman Timmy Dooley, who called for the state to immediately invest in the campaign to ensure the iconic cliffs have every chance of being selected.

“The Government needs to actively support this campaign on an ongoing, thorough basis, given the benefits success would bring to the country,” the Clare TD said.
