A CANADIAN hockey player got more than he bargained for when he picked up a walker caught in a downpour.

He ended up with rocker Bono in his car and scored two concert tickets as a thank-you.

The U2 frontman and his assistant were walking in West Vancouver, British Columbia, on Tuesday when they got caught in the rain. Fortunately for them, Edmonton Oiler centre Gilbert Brule and his girlfriend were driving by, taking their German shepherd to a park.
