Minister to study findings of Fair Deal examination

HEALTH Minister James Reilly will make no comment until next week on the Fair Deal funding examination that was completed yesterday.

A spokesman for the minister said Dr Reilly will study the examination’s findings, expected to be “fairly complex and technical”, over the weekend.

A total of 4,604 applications have been processed under the nursing home support scheme but could not be approved until funding was available.
