Driver has claim thrown out

A FORMER baggage float driver at Dublin Airport lied to Ryanair and Aer Lingus about a litany of previous accidents he had been involved in, a court has heard.

Driver has claim thrown out

Sasha Gayer, counsel for both airlines, told the Circuit Civil Court that Rhan Musharib, aged 43, claimed he had been seriously injured while driving one of two baggage floats that crashed at the airport 10 years ago. He had taken a €38,000 damages claim against the defendants.

She said Musharib, of Whitethorn Crescent, Palmerstown, Co Dublin, had denied in a legal document that he had previously been in an accident or suffered from a physical complaint or disability, but that he had been in six traffic accidents in Britain between 1996 and 2000.
