BOOKMAKERS are fearing a “multi-million pound headache” when the aptly-named Royal Wedding runs at Fontwell this evening.

The nine-year-old struts his stuff in the Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer Handicap Chase at 5.30pm.

Ladbrokes’ spokesman David Williams said: “The bookies won’t be smiling if Royal Wedding scores at the races. It could be the best-backed horse we’ve seen in ages and land us with a multi-million pound headache.”
