Kate’s dress will be a true classic, says wedding guru

KING of the wedding planners Peter Kelly, aka Franc, says Kate’s dress will be a classic, showing off her figure to perfection.

Kate’s dress will be a true classic, says wedding guru

“The dress is still veiled in mystery with just 24 hours to go when Kate Middleton makes the transition from commoner to Princess.

“It is bound to be a show-stopper,” says Franc, who is based in Fermoy, Co Cork.

“After all billions of people will be focused on the bride herself — and no doubt they’ll be making comparisons with Diana’s dress back in 1981, which was designed by Elizabeth Emanuel.

“But there is certain protocol associated with royal weddings that must be adhered to,” says Franc.

“Kate’s dress won’t be above the knee and there will be very little flesh showing.

“The designer is still not known. I’d like to see Victoria Beckham have a hand in it.

“She has designed amazing dresses,” says Franc.

“And Victoria herself is a real style icon.

“I imagine Kate’s dress could very well have a Renaissance theme,” says Franc.

“She studied that era in college and is very much interested in art and literature in the 15th and 16th centuries.”

While Kate’s mother, Carole and sister, Pippa, have been spotted in the royal favourite Bruce Oldfield’s boutique, the bride to be is keeping mum.

“The whole world will be kept in the dark until Kate steps over the threshold of Westminister Abbey at 11am tomorrow, and that’s the way it should be,” says Franc.
