RSA calling leading lights

THE Road Safety Authority (RSA) is calling for nominations for the 2011 Leading Lights in Road Safety Awards, which recognise extraordinary contributions to making Irish roads safer.

Now in its fourth year, the awards honour the outstanding efforts of people from local community groups, media, schools and businesses nationwide to improve safety on our roads.

Categories include Road Safety Ambassador of the Year, Young Road Safety Ambassador of the Year, Public Sector and Business, with two categories for media and five sections under education: Pre-school, Primary, Secondary, Third Level and Community.
