Three held over jewellery shop raid

THREE suspected armed robbers are being questioned after a raid on a jewellers.

A shot was fired during the attempted robbery at a shop on Mitchell Street, Nenagh, Co Tipperary, at about 11.15am. No one was hurt.

Two men who entered the shop left empty handed and got into a waiting car.
